Aside from its ski valet service and an on-site restaurant, the condotel has a host of amenities within the rooms and throughout the property, ranging from private patios, in-room onsen in most residences, ski storage, drying room, a sauna, and a gym, showcasing that it offers more than what modern travellers expect.

THINGS to NOTE

The Fine Print

    • Complimentary concierge service available for guests, including arrangement of airport transfers, ski lift tickets, ski lessons, ski gear rental, non-ski activities, car hire, and in-accommodation catering with our concierge team.

    • Upon check-in, there will be complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar, body soap, hand soap, conditioning shampoo, dishwasher powder, washing powder, tissues and cleaning products.

    • Complimentary in-resort transfers between the Hirafu Welcome Center and accommodation upon guests’ arrival and departure. Guests transfer details (bus company and number, number of passengers and estimated arrival/departure time) must be furnished to our Concierge team at least 1 month prior to arrival date and may be subject to availability. If details are provided less than 3 days before the arrival date we shall do the utmost to schedule the transfers but cannot guarantee it.

    • Breakfast is included for all guests during the winter season (01 December-31 March).

    • Check-in: 3 PM

      • Copies of passports and credit card details for security deposit are required at check-in.

    • Check-out: 10 AM

      • All luggage and personal belongings must be removed from rooms by the check-out time.

      • No late check-out is permitted during Peak Season; there will be a late check-out fee incurred for delayed departure.

      • In case of an early departure before reception hours of 7 AM, guests must check out at reception the evening before their departure day. Room keys may be left on the kitchen bench and the front door of the apartment closed.

    • Early check-in/late check-out requests will be subject to availability on arrival/departure at the property. Luggage storage is available at the property.

    • Extra person (6 years old and above) counts toward maximum occupancy allowed for each unit.

    • A child 5 years old and below can stay for free in existing bedding. We strongly recommend for all infants to sleep in cots. We do not recommend that infants share existing bedding with family or to exceed the maximum occupancy allowed.

    • Extra bedding for infant (5 years old and below) is a baby cot/futon and high chair at JPY 5,000 per child per stay.

    • Extra person (6 years old and above) fee of JPY 12,000 per person per night is applicable when occupants exceed the standard occupancy for the respective unit. An extra futon will be arranged in the living room and not in the bedrooms due to limited space.

    • In the situation that an extra guest stays for only part of the nights booked, the extra person fee still applies for the total nights of the group stay.

    • No extra persons allowed in the Studio units. Maximum of 1 additional guest allowed in the 1- and 2-Bed with onsen units. Maximum of 2 additional guests allowed in the 3- to 6-Bed with onsen units.

    • Bedding may be flexible in the accommodation, but varies bedroom to bedroom.

    • Bedding will be arranged in the standard bedding configuration (twin bedding) unless specified otherwise in writing to guestexperience@theluxenomad.com at least 1 month prior to arrival date.

    • Where bedding configuration is not supplied within the required time frame or is incorrect on check-in and needs to be changed, an amendment fee of JPY 5,000 per bedroom will be charged.

    • Service Clean: every second day of your stay, which includes towel change, bed making and garbage removal.

    • Mid Stay Clean: Service Clean including full linen change and vacuuming of apartment for guests staying 5 nights or more.

    • Extra cleaning is available on request at additional charge; advance booking is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival date. Please contact our Concierge team for more details.

    • Please note that the accommodation is to be tidy and all cutlery, crockery, kitchenware must be washed upon Check-Out. A fee will be charged if additional cleaning is required.

    • Guests accept responsibility for damage to the property, the room (including common areas), fittings, furniture, keys and other properties caused during their occupation, including any consequential losses incurred.

    • No smoking is allowed in the property (includes balcony areas). Guests who smoke will be liable to pay a fine (JPY 100,000 for 1-Bedroom to 5-Bedroom units and JPY 500,000 for Penthouse units), and additional damage charges may apply to compensate later guests who are affected by the smell of smoking or the owner of the property for bookings that need to be relocated to a different property.

    • No pets are allowed at any accommodation, either inside, outside or remaining in vehicles parked at the accommodation.
